Bassem Hallak

Bassem Hallak was the former owner of this shop and the inspiration for our Gallery book store café.  We suddenly lost Bassem in October of 2014, but his humanity lives on.  He taught many who came to his shop about Palestine and its people, about what it what it means to suffer and ultimately persevere and live life to the fullest.  Visiting the Old City of Jerusalem affects people in many different ways, how will it leave you?
